|
{Bey Shah+ x Gaazahr
(Gazon)} |
|
Marosh Arabians
regretfully announced that on Dec. 11, 2009, they made the decision
to humanely put Bey Shahzon down. He had developed some
serious arthritis and was in a lot of pain and having trouble
getting around and getting up and down. He will live on
in our hearts forever. |

SIRE and GRANDSIRE of CHAMPIONS |
|
YEAR after YEAR after
YEAR after YEAR.... |
| |
|
Bey Shahzon
was sired by one of the all-time leading sires of champions, BEY SHAH+.
Bey Shahzon was out of a champion-producing daughter of "Living
Legend" sire & leading sire of champions, GAZON. Gazon
was noted as a superior broodmare sire. Dam to Bey Shahzon,
GAZAHR, is line bred to FERZON, through Gazon and again
through her dam, daughter of the National TOP TEN Ferzon son, Bu-Zahr. |
| |
|
Bey Shahzon
was never shown himself, due to a leg injury as a yearling. However,
his full sisters were very successful show horses. His full sister,
BEY OBSESSION, was US National TOP TEN Futurity Filly, Region 10
Champion Mare, Region 11 Champion Mare, Region 11 Champion Mare, Buckeye
Champion aged Mare, and winner of many other championships.
Another full sister, PASSIONATE BEY, was a multi-champion mare.
Bey Obsession was also the dam to the very influential Ali Jamaal
son, MAF Bey Ali, who died at a very young age, but still sired some
very impressive foals out of only 2 foal crops. |
| |
|
Bey Shahzon has
proven his worth as a sire through the great success his foals had in
the show ring and breeding barn. Bey Shahzon
sired 8 Regional Sweepstakes Yearling Champions or Reserves. He has
sired a Scottsdale Halter Champion and 3 other Scottsdale TOP TEN winners.
He sired Regional Champions & Top Five winners in halter
and performance and numerous Class A Champions
and Iowa Gold Star futurity winners in Halter & performance. Bey
Shahzon's foals consistently inherited the style, carriage and attitude
that have made the Bey Shah horses such incredible show horses.
He was very strong in producing size; length of leg; high-set, long & shapely
necks; pretty faces with big eyes; great bodies; short backs; extreme
tail-carriage; great legs; and athletic ability. He also consistently
sired foals with great personalities and trainable dispositions.
